Convergilence
In the spirit of satirical made-up words like “Strategery”, I have coined “Convergilence” which I’m guessing might be a convergence of excellence or flatulence….I can’t decide.
Nevertheless, I am devoting my life to the proliferation of convergilence into the English language.

BYO-DVR Upgrade
In my previous blog I wrote about building a DVR (or HTPC) which uses BeyondTV as its front end. It was initially built for Standard Definition and then I updated the capture card to capture High Definition content. The hardware then started showing its age and now it’s time to gut the thing and put in some new hardware. Here is the new configuration I will be using:
